Requeriments for a Good Performance
Good Morning ( now here xD)
I would like to ask about the requeriments on android, i know that is hard to talk about this because is still in development, but is already 0.8 and there are plans for 0.9 already,so, i have a tablet Ainol is 1,2 ghz mali-400 1 gb ram ( 400 mb free) and i have some problens with weak games that was ok on 0.7.6 like bleach was full playable , on 0.8.1 there are lags, so its ok to presume that the requeriments are increasing? now for the people who don't want to read that stuff here the direct questions, 1 - talking about future versions like 0.9 or 1.0: i am fine with tablet Ainol is 1,2 ghz mali-400 1 gb ram ( 400 mb free) dual core, and a Star X920 1,5 ghz quad core, MTK 6589T 1 gb ram? Full HD Thank you for reading and i hope you may answer my questions =) |

RE: Requeriments for a Good Performance
Well, judging by my Samsung S3's performance (1,4ghz Exynos/ Mali 400) you'd need a phone about 2-3 times as fast to run almost everything at full speed on the current version of PPSSPP.
Since newer phones like the S4 have only around 35% more power than this, I guess the hardware might catch up in 2015-16. But as Henrik and the team are going forward, I hope that PPSSPP optimizations, coupled with 2014's top phone releases, will enable full speed next year... for the lucky S5 (and similar HTC, Nexus) phone owners. Too bad I will still have one more year to go with the S3 on my current carrier's plan |
