Emulator functionality suggestions
Hello,
I have two basic function suggestions for the emulator, which should improve it in many ways:
Command line shortcuts worked with all games at 0.7, but since 0.8 just a few games don't make the emulator crash when opening it. What I mean is the run path Quote:ppsspp-dev\PPSSPPWindows.exe "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Impact [US].iso" That you can put in shortcuts In order to make neat things such as front-ends: http://i.imgur.com/yiXRMss.jpg Henrik, is it possible to bring back that awesome little feature? Thanks! |

Reset button is a good suggestion.
Hm, I didn't know that was broken, it certainly works fine on Mac although I haven't tried it on Windows recently. I'll have a look later. |

With the recent feature, I only use command line opening of games on rare occasion now, but when I have used it, it's worked.
It could cause problems if the working directory is not set the same as the application, though. Reset button - other than Emulation -> Reset? -[Unknown] |

RE: Emulator functionality suggestions
For the command line(or shortcut)you must set the working directory(Start In path)to be where ppsspp folders are,otherwise he won't load anything(lang,assets,flash0,at3plusdecoder.dll)and you'll have problems
Using PPSSPP on Windows 7 x64 SP1 i7 4771 3.5Ghz,GTX750TI,16GB RAM Batch iso <=> cso converter http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=5384 Save Game\States Manager http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=5516 |

RE: Emulator functionality suggestions
On a sidenote: I forgot to mention that the command line shortcut was making the emulator crash with all games except Crisis Core and Final Fantasy Type-0. Maybe I few other I don't have, though.
Games I have been played that I wasn't able to open through the shortcut were Maverick Hunter X, War of the Lions, Naruto Impact and Final Fantasy IV Complete Collection. They were all working prior 0.8. |
