The new update on Android slows down games

Hi

First of all, thank you guys for the amazing emulator.

I use a Samsung galaxy note 2 and until recently I used an older version of the PPSSPP (the one where you had to disable the media engine in order to successfully play some games) and the games ran fairly well.

I've downloaded the most recent update and now all games have slowed down a lot to a point where some of them are unplayable.

I've tried to play around with the speed, turning it from Standard to Fixed, the unlimited option just doesn't work. However there was no improvement.

Is there anything I could do about this issue?
