HTML5/Javascript Super Hexagon Clone
I made a HTML5/Javascript version of Super Hexagon. I built it off of a pre existing javascript clone which I found here http://js1k.com/2013-spring/demo/1473
I added a lot of new stuff to it such as: Game stretches to the size of the browser window Has a proper timer (looks like the real game) It has physical controls for reseting the game The game no longer crashes when you lose (it presents a game over screen). Added audio, added touch screen support. Added support for the Wii U game pad Fixed stuttering. And many other things... ...I basically added a lot of stuff. I works on my iPad at a higher frame rate than the real game and it also works on the Wii U (although the Wii U is pretty slow at processing javascript). |

RE: HTML5/Javascript Super Hexagon Clone
Thanks! The proper Super Hexagon is a lot more fun though. I spent many hours playing it after I bought it on Steam.
The only reason I made this is to have a similar game that I can play on almost any OS. |

RE: HTML5/Javascript Super Hexagon Clone
HTML5 just implements a few new tags. However the way you can interact with those tags using javascript opens up massive new possibilities.
Sorry but I will not be posting a link to this. At least not yet. Right now its basically an exact clone of super hexagon, even the sound assets are the same. I doubt the developer would be happy if I released it. You can still try the original JS1K version in the OP though. |
