Need to set key combinations on controller for Tekken

Hello All!

I am completely new to this forum and have been able to recently install Tekken 7 Mod on my android phone using PPSSPP. I know that if I connect a ps4 etc. controller to it, I will be able to use the main buttons also showing on the screen of the game. i want to however use L1, L2 etc keys set to the key combinations like I did on PS4. Please guide which controller is best for me and how do I set the keys on the controller to combinations if possible.
