NHL 07 ad hoc problem

There's an issue inside the game when trying to play ad hoc multiplayer. Lobby and connectivity is fine and just before an opening faceoff gameplay freezes showing players on the rink going back and forth but, anyway, you can enter the pause menu and do stuff like pulling/returning goalie or quiting the game.

I tried to play with various settings, different ports, server ips etc. but nothing works. Is there a chance this can be fixed or is there possible solution already?

For example, multiple EA games from '07 like FIFA, NBA Live or NASCAR work smoothly on ad hoc so it's kinda strange that NHL isn't there so far.

I hope someone will fix this issue very soon!
