Super Robot Wars Advance Portable - Bad Vshader?
Hello...
The game SRW Advance Portable just got a translation patch and I tried to run it on PPSSPP, but whenever I get into the part where I can control things, I constantly get the message "Bad Vshader cached. Try to continue?" and it kept doing that every frame that I had to quit. And it isn't just because I patched the game, but when I tried to run the game raw, that message also appeared. Any way you can help with this? Thanks... |

Is this with the latest version of PPSSPP (1.6.x or latest git)? I assume you're using Vulkan? What GPU?

i think it's the emulator. The game does not work with 1.6.3 but works with 1.5.4. i was using the old emulator because i clicked on the wrong zip file. you might want to switch as well until it gets fixed.

I just had the same thing happen with this game on PPSSPP 1.6.3, 1050ti, Vulkan API. Same situation happens with Phantom Kingdom Portable as well-- game starts fine, a cut-scene plays, but as soon as the player gets control then "bad v-shader cached" pops up. Hit ignore and it continues seemingly every frame; abort crashes the emulator. |

Same issue here. Using GTX1070. No problems after reverting back to 1.5.4

No need to revert to an older version, just change your rendering backend to Direct3D 11.
