				PPSSPP performance questions

I have been using the PPSSPP for a while now but it seems like this emulator does not as well on my more powerful laptop than my older one. I used to play the emulator on my older toshiba satellite laptop which had an intel pentium graphic card and a processor speed of 2.16GHz. It had 500gb of memory and ran on windows 8. The laptop I am using right now is a lenovo y50 which I think has better specs than my older toshiba one since it has a quad core processor, 1 tb of space, a nvida gtx 860 as well as a intel i7 graphic card. Yet when I run the PPSSPP it seems to be more laggy and more sound stutters. I tried reading various guides and applying different fixes but none really seem to work. Altering the resolution makes it a bit better but I am wondering if anyone else has some other advice?

It would help to have a screenshot of your settings. The entire graphics tab and under system really only the emulation section matters.

				RE: PPSSPP performance questions

Emulation performance is not always as expected on portable devices, mainly because of temperatures. Pentium is more cool than Core i7 Quad-Core, because it uses a lot less power. Anyway, check out the energy settings if high performance is enabled, it can help a little while the CPU is cool.
