Recording on PPSSPP with ShadowPlay

Hello everybody!

Is it possible to record on the PPSSPP with Nvidia's ShadowPlay? I'm not too privy at messing with the emulator's settings if that would help me, and I've seen threads from a couple years ago where people have said they recorded using the Shadowplay software, just not how. When I try recording with it and pull up PPSSPP, it doesn't give me the green status light in the corner, or my framerate count. Am I missing something?
