Hey, man, I got a great attention.!
In the "new3dsll " development ppsspp, how do you see?
Completely three-dimensional 3D game. In the Nintendo game player inside you can play PSP game.

And will not like the phone as constantly updated hardware, so that development is more difficult.

This is a very exciting idea!

But I'm not a developer, this is just a great proposal! I hope the forum has a developer to study!

I doubt the 3DS processor is fast enough. It's a 268 MHz ARM11 MPCore quad core (with only 3 cores usable for games)

which is a lot slower than the Raspberry Pi 2 and people have reported that the Raspberry Pi 2 does not get great performance out of ppsspp.

However, the'n3ds' screen resolution is very low, (400*240).
Stereoscopic 3D (800*240)

I'm not talking about the graphics, I'm talking about the CPU power required to do the system emulation of the PSP and the whole MIPS to ARM recompilation

268 Mhz is slower than the PSP's 333Mhz. That's like trying to outrun a motorcycle with a bicycle, but guess what? The driver of the bicycle thinks she's on a motorcycle and there's some weird contraption trying to convert her actions into pedaling.

The wheels being roughly the same size isn't gonna solve that problem.

Thought I would bump this because I think it's would at the very least be an interesting experiment. Also the earlier posters are wrong about the n3ds hardware, as it's significantly more powerful than the original 3ds(which they refereed to) and has a 804mhz CPU (3dbrew.org/wiki/Hardware#Common_hardware), while still not good it should hopefully be possible? Homebrew scene for 3ds has also gotten a lot better since last year.

the regular 3ds (268mhz) is apparently even too slow for SNES emulation.

The New 3DS got a 804Mhz Quadcore, might be fast enough to emulate some 2D PSP games but thats about it.
My old HTC Desire Z with a 800Mhz singlecore Snapdragon could barely handle 3D games at playable fps.

basically, its possible, but wouldn't be as fast as on modern smartphones.
