PPSSPP Multiplayer over same network

Hi, I'm a bit new, my friends and I have recently turned to PPSSPP as a great way to play games that you normally can't online. The title may be a bit misleading here. What my buddies and I run into a problem with is when two people on the same wireless network, try to connect to coolbird. it will let the first person on the network connect, they can join and host games like normal. The second person on the network will freeze and is forced to restart their client. Is there a way to tell the emulator that two people, from the same network are connecting to a host? I apologize if this has been addressed in another thread, I didn't see anything like this before.

(Both of my friends are running the latest PPSSPP release, We're trying to play Another Century's Episode Portable. I can connect to one or the other just fine, but not both.)
