Wait for Emu Thread timed out

I've looked at several threads for solution when I got this message

"Wait for Emu thread timed out"

I still wonder if it is hardware, program or game related because the game I use worked well up until a certain point, like when I use a certain character the game would freeze for 15-x amount of seconds and then goes black. When I close it I get the following message.

Some forums suggest that is program/hardware related, my hardware is not that old but I am not completely sure if any of my other programs are eating up ram or if the game is somewhat corrupted.

The game I'm using is call Dai-2-Ji Super Robot Taisen Z Saisei-hen if you are wondering.

By the way I'm new here.
