Goodnight, sweet prince.
Well, the Xperia Play may finally be on it's way out. Today it was completely unresponsive for about three hours, wouldn't even pick up a call. It works now, so I'm backing up my files and looking for a replacement. I'll have a replacement phone at the ready, and when my baby finally croaks, it shall have the burial of a king.

RE: Goodnight, sweet prince.
Thanks for the condolences. I re-flashed the firmware, and there aren't anymore random shutdowns, but the phone overheats like crazy and there are some other issues like the LED lights no longer working. So the phone is definitely on its way out. I'm going to go with a GS3 that I can get new for like $30, and use an iPega controller for emulators. (I'm on a budget.) A friend uses this setup and says it's great, but I'll sorely miss the built-in controls. Please Sony, an Xperia Play 2. Please.
