What do the "RightAn.X" control binds do?

What do the "RightAn.Up", "RightAn.Down", "RightAn.Left", and "RightAn.Right" control binds do? They're listed under PPSSPP Settings > Controls > Control mapping > Extended PSP controls

It seems they describe a right analog stick on the PSP, but the PSP doesn't have a right analog stick

I also looked in the PPSSPP reference docs and those key binds are not listed there: https://www.ppsspp.org/docs/reference/key-bindings/

I'm using macOS and PPSSPP v1.17.1 btw
