Badman won't save on Desire Z running ICS

Hi folks,

Really impressed with the emulator -- I can play Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! at near fullspeed on my old Desire Z.

however, it doesn't seem to save, and I can't find any option to correct this! the game allows me to choose a savefile when prompted, but it seems to be writing it to null, as when I try to load the save afterwards (even without restarting the emulator), it tells me there's no data. I checked and there is a savefile directory created on my SD card -- do I need to create a dummy memory card somehow?

well, I found the problem ... X for enter O to cancel switches to O for enter and X to cancel in the save menu /only/. I'm guessing that's due to a weird API implementation ... my fault!
