ARC V Tag Force Special stuck at start screen

I'm having a pretty weird issue. I'm trying to play (a fan-translated) Yugioh ARC V on Windows 10 but this happens (Imgur link). In case the link doesn't work, at the start screen, when I press New Game or Continue the game simply doesn't leave the start screen. The issue does not happen with other games. Any clues?

Edit: I tried running 5D's Tag Force 6, which is another one that was translated into English by fans, and the exact same problem happens. I'm still clueless though, there's nothing special about those ISOs to my knowledge that should cause a problem like this.
