Apparently i got caught in a wide IP ban ?! What ?
Didnt visit here for a week or two. When i enter the forum normally it says i am banned. I didnt even post anything for the last 4 months ! But apparently my account is fine, as i can enter through proxy, and there is no mention of any ban in place. What is up with that ?

This is because you don't always have the same IP address (dynamic).
And apparently today you have the same IP address as a banned ♦ Intel Core i7-6700HQ | 16 GB RAM | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M | Debian Testing ♦ Intel Core i7-2630QM | 4 GB RAM | NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M | Debian Testing ♦ PSP-3004 | 6.60 PRO-C2 |

RE: Apparently i got caught in a wide IP ban ?! What ?
Same thing happened here and I'm on as much as the OP. My name doesnt say banned under it and I had to log on through a proxy. I use firefox and I don't mess around with IP address things at all. How can this be fixed? Saw someone on neogaf with the same problem.

You basically did the only fix you can do which is to use a vpn or a proxy until your ISP (internet service provider) assigns you a new IP address and hope it is not one that is IP banned on any site you like due to spammers or other internet evil.

I'm going to look at removing all the IP bans. they don't seem to help much in deterring spammers anyway, they just keep coming from new IPs.
