PPSSPP and PSP ad hoc- Can get online with both, but never in same game lobby

I've tried with a couple of games, Tekken 6, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, and Dissidia. While I can get into the online game lobbies for the games, it's like PPSSPP and my PSP are on two different frequencies. For example, on MHFU, I can choose both to be on the same gathering hall and they will not show up next to one another. Same with Dissidia, if I choose a server (say, Midgard) it will connect, but neither will appear as another player that I can connect to (or at all). I followed every guide, and I don't have any other errors that I've encountered on threads, except this... if anyone could help me out, that'd be awesome! Thanks!
