RE: Midnight Club LA Remix
I'm very sorry for the bump, but I've gotten nostalgic recently and got an iso of la remix, and tried playing it with ppsspp and multiple other programs based on it and I get this very choppy sound. I've tried playing on an HTC One M8. Anyone know how to fix this? I apologize if it has been asked already.

RE: Midnight Club LA Remix
Both Midnight club games play great for me in v1.3 (Windows 32-bit), however, starting with v1.3-493, both games have become pretty much unplayable.
What happens is that when you go into a race, the loading screen flickers badly and in the race itself, the screen not only flickers, but will eventually go either partially or completely black. When this happens, PPSSPP won't display the pause menu if you press ESC. It stays on the game screen, which is partially or completely black. The game does pause, it just won't display the menu. If you continue playing, the screen will eventually go back to normal, but the problem will continue to re-occur every few seconds, making it impossible to play the game properly. I had to add the screenshot as an attachment because the forum won't let me post a link... |

PSP GPU uses some old technics to draw graphics that current GPUs doesn't understand, work arround this to make use of modern technics is hard, and when it's done the performance is affected and bugs might appears. RE: Midnight Club LA Remix
And there's progress in this part of PPSSPP ?
Because at the start of this thread, Midnight Club was 95% bugged, and now it works okay-ish / Good (with this cheat code) I assume there are many devs trying to optimize the GPU ? |
