Is there a way to turn the framelimiter off for benchmarking purposes? I know there is the button to unthrottle but this also turns frameskip on, so I can't use that to benchmark.

No such problems here. does it freeze on certain games only? Also, I can imagine that multithreading can cause crashes, so make sure to not use that.
