Both CPU and GPU modes crash here. Unfortunately the log says nothing in this regards, I'd expect it is either an incompatibility with the GPU drivers or the CPU itself.

That doesn't say anything about what version you're using, is it 0.8.1 or v0.8.1-788-g1533b58. Try the latter if you haven't. As for the settings, I really don't know what to suggest to you other than...

Tried it on both v0.8.1-632-g05dfd27 and v0.8.1-633-g6cc141a on Windows and they both work flawlessly (as does Puyo 7. Will try on my Android phone to see how it works and will edit this post afterwar...

I can confirm buggy input on keyboard, both on 0.8.1-332-ga599bf7 and v0.8.1-339-g8988d69. For me it's the Start and Select buttons which I assigned to Enter and Shift respectively.
