Not version 0.9.8, but rather version 0.9.9.8. 1.0 and onward are very well-known for being stable outside story mode but crashing frequently in story mode. OpenGL helps some, in my experience, but th...

PSA: If you use the Direct3D backend do not update to any version past 1.1.1-r880. From r882 onward the FPS in battles drops to 2-9 which is unplayable. (01-12-2016 12:47 AM)translus3nt Wrote:  ...

Another issue, a possible wontfix: in Nonbuffered Rendering with DirectX9 backend, in 1.0.1 release and 1.0.1-r432, characters in battle are mostly invisible. Buffered Rendering fixes this.

I haven't started checking the builds yet, but for anyone else who can't proceed through the story, try changing the backend to OpenGL. The cutscene loaded for me with OpenGL in 1.0.1-r432, when it cr...

I can reproduce this problem in 1.0.1-r432 and 1.0 release. When PPSSPP tries to load the cutscene before the first boss in 013 Epilogue, it hangs on a white screen. The cutscene does load correctly i...

r442 will load savedata, let me fight battles, walk around on the world map, and play cutscenes, but it's not what I'd call playable quite yet. It's around where PPSSPP was in March or April 2013 -- a...

For Duodecim, I believe you need AdamN's private builds. The official ones AFAIK don't have the extra code needed for Duodecim to connect.
