It appears the crash when enemy summons is fixed now since Unknown's GE related fixes and rescheduling fixes were merged into master.

To complete what solarmystic had to say, I'm afraid I have bad news, the commit revert occurred at v0.9.1-533-gb054f1d seams to have broken text rendering of this game for pretty much all graphics car...
