Can't set Analog as secondary D-Pad - joekenton - 02-15-2014 11:36 PM
Hey I am using a G910 Xbox type controller to play PPSSPP on my nexus 5 and I have my buttons mapped like this:

This should allow me to use both the D-pad and the right analog as the PSP D-pad however only the controllers D-pad functions. Am I doing something wrong?

Same issue here, Thrustmaster GPX, officially xbox-compatible, right analog wont work as d-pad.

the D-pad when mapped currently overrides any pressure sensitive input mapped to the same buttons.
i've opened an issue for this on github a while ago, but there's no response to it yet.
for now you'll have to rely on a separate mapping app to remap your physical analog to act like a physical D-pad, or you'll have to choose between using analog or D-pad for the psp D-pad.

although i dont have that problem, a friend of mine solved it by remapping but its annoying to do so, maybe in next builds they release binding profiles so we can make a profile for every game as the override problem isn't fixed

in it you can see how to use SET buttons to make different sets for full D-pad Full analog analog + D-pad ....e.t.c.
even mapping R2 L2 and R3 L3 which can be useful for tekken and some other games
