I wanted to play MH3rd (not HD ver) with my friends so I followed all the steps from this thread "[Tutorial] Simple way to play multiplayer using Tunngle" and the PPSSPP freezes/I'm stuck at now loading screen whenever I try to go into online guild hall.

Please Help!!!

P.S my PPSSPP version is 0.9.6.2
Confused

As you can see I can select the guild halls

But when I select one of them and try to go in I'm stuck with this screen

Merged.

Sometimes I get this problem and I fix it by closing PPSSPP and then reopening it Smile

Thanks for the reply!
I tried closing and reopening the PPSSPP and it didn't work. I even tried restarting the computer so I think there is something wrong with it.

I recommend you to re-read the tutorial to be sure you didn't forget anything Smile

For example :
  • Write the MAC address correctly (and use a different one for each person) in the ppsspp.ini
  • Everyone have to write the IP address of the person who is launching "AdhocSever.exe" in their ppsspp.ini

Hmm...I just went through the tutorial again and I found nothing wrong with my setups etc...

Want to connect 2 pc running ppsspp without internet - Anomaly007 - 05-12-2014 01:09 PM

My wife and i have been playing monster hunter portable 3rd using evolve and an adhoc server me being the host on 2 different pc. It has been great fun. Problem is internet bill is coming up soon and may not have the money and you know how pesky these bills can be no pay no play. Have searched and searched the forums for anyone trying to do this and found nada.
I would like to connect my wife's pc to my pc adhoc server so we can connect our ppsspp together with no pesky internet. I have a lot of tools i have my own modem i can use to set up a lan no internet between the 2 pc. Im not a tech wizard tho so not sure what all to do to set up the lan, adjust firewall, set up port, offline IP address? idk
I know this is a bit technical and complicated but dont say it cant be done. Where there is a will there is a way.
Thanks to ppsspp for an awesome emu i had to pawn my psp a long time ago ive owned 2 of them so i finally get to play all my old games again.

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd (HD Ver. or not) - vnctdj - 05-12-2014 03:14 PM

Merged.

Each player have to write the local IP (instead of Evolve's one) of the player who host (even him himself) in ppsspp.ini (in front of the "proAdhocServer = " line) and it should work Smile
