Possible to not full-screen on an Android tablet? - yuzutea1 - 11-04-2013 08:36 PM Is it possible in the options to not have the game fill up the entire screen on an Android tablet? I have a lot of games that have 2D graphics and they just don't look that good stretched out on a 10" tablet. I looked in the settings and 1X resolution still makes it take up the entire screen. I tried going to non-buffered rendering but it didn't have an effect either. Is there some other setting I need to change? RE: Possible to not full-screen on an Android tablet? - TheMadHatter - 11-05-2013 05:55 PM This is probably because the PSP used widescreen and when you tip your tablet side ways it is normal? >_> I also have a 10" tablet. Screen looks normal when in NON-Buffered mode. But at best I get 30fps on a slow game -_- RE: Possible to not full-screen on an Android tablet? - yuzutea1 - 11-05-2013 07:16 PM It remains in widescreen orientation even when I rotate the screen. How do I change it so I can play in portrait? That might help the problem. RE: Possible to not full-screen on an Android tablet? - vitality19 - 11-05-2013 08:00 PM unfortunately portrait mode is not supported yet, it caused crashes and was removed for the time being, you could try experimenting with anti-aliasing, texture filtering and so on - other than that I don't know RE: Possible to not full-screen on an Android tablet? - globe94 - 11-05-2013 11:52 PM try this, android build with auto-rotate. http://buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp/index.php?m=get&rev=v0.9.1-1661-gf374593&platform=android it crashes on other users, but on mine its fine ![]() try it. |
