;o Lols, dunno why I thought apk files are some special installers xD, nice^_^, gonna quote you in first post, through hopefully android will not be forgotten when custom shaders get some kind of special treatmentSmile.

@GuilhermeGS2 you can do what globe94 did, just open the APK "installer" of ppsspp with any archiving tools replace the shader inside, save and install from that modified apk^_^.

RE: Custom PPSSPP shaders - GuilhermeGS2 - 10-11-2013 08:09 PM

Sorry, I didn't see the previous post. But I think is already is into the apk as defaut.

Ah, the files into the apk are not as the modified shaders. I have to change. Thanks guys.

I can't install says "o aplicatico não está instalado" (the application isn't installed). I did wrong?

I've changed the files into the "...assets/shaders" by the files downloaded.

RE: Custom PPSSPP shaders - Henrik - 10-11-2013 11:37 PM

Custom post-shader support added now, have fun Smile

See assets/shaders/defaultshaders.ini, should be self explanatory.

I will add a feature later so you can add shaders directly on the sd card on android so you don't need root hacking or apk hacking.

LunaMoo, please split up your mega shader into separate ones and send a pull request if you like, or just upload the zip file, and I'll add the good ones to the official build.

Later I might add something that lets you add checkboxes and sliders to control parameters with instead of editing the shader file..

RE: Custom PPSSPP shaders - GuilhermeGS2 - 10-12-2013 12:28 AM

Thanks a lot Henrik!! I'll download the last build.

RE: Custom PPSSPP shaders - LunaMoo - 10-12-2013 02:24 AM

^__^ Thanks from me as well.
I'm not really sure how I should split my shader? I don't think it's good idea because while it is made of quite a few modules, they mix with each other for ending result, they work as a whole. Have no idea what to do with it now. :o

Currently it could be divided by what it do on few things:
- fxaa on the start because it does help, but considering ppsspp will have other solutions for this, it can go away completely,
- bloom and related functions - that's most solid part of the shader I guess,
- sharpen that one can be a completely different one since it has little to do with other features,
- color correction.

So after that I made a compilation of three different shaders, splitting it out to sharpen, bloom and shadeboost packed with the original one which has all of them for you to decide if you want to add any of it: feel free to tweak or mix it as you wish.
I would say sharpen and bloom could go as different shaders even now and if possible shadeboost/gamma would be nice to add as an extra feature, because color correction is somewhat bad to change without all those fancy sliders.

I guess there's no reason to haste it through either. Config menu surely sounds nice and I could reorganize stuff as much as it'll need to make good use of such feature to leave as much of current functionality as possible without having to split anything. I'll leave the link for full shader in here optionally for now, so there's nothing lost one way or another^_^.

@LunaMoo how about defaultshaders.ini file?
I just mess around a bit with that file. I doing this :-

RE: Custom PPSSPP shaders - kerupukalot - 10-12-2013 05:32 PM

i cant extract the 7z files, it says "unknown method", im using winrar, any help?

RE: Custom PPSSPP shaders - LunaMoo - 10-12-2013 05:34 PM

@Ritori Well .vsh file can be reused from default fxaa, no need to use a second copy of it.

I also think it should rather have name after what it's doing like "Customizable bloom shader" or something instead my forum name ~ I mean I don't have ego issues, need for fame/shame nor anything alike. ;O

As far as I care it could be even called...
"Miku Shader" and have an miku option activated by default
[Image: jbzeboWfvbfRjD.jpg]
even if it makes it look bad in most other games.

@kerupukalot you probably use old winrar versionTongue either update or use 7z.

RE: Custom PPSSPP shaders - Ritori - 10-12-2013 05:53 PM

so I edit same .vsh file with other divide shader you just put?
That mean it okay then Smile

Yup I already edit Miku one Smile

Is someone lazy enough to edit they ini file Big Grin

RE: Custom PPSSPP shaders - Tabman - 10-13-2013 09:06 AM

This is great Smile

Thanks Henrik and LunaMoo.

Edit: For the lazy ones out there, add this part to "defaultshaders.ini" for LunaMoos shader pack.
[All in one]
Name=All in one
Fragment=All in One.fsh
Name=Sharpen(may crash)
Ps: the sharpen shader crashes ppsspp for me, happens also when enabling it in all-in-one. YMMW.

Hatsune never looked so good before, awesome work there LunaMoo. Btw how you get your ISO patched to english, do you happen to have a link to the patch? thanks

RE: Custom PPSSPP shaders - Henrik - 10-13-2013 09:41 AM

You guys know that you can have several shader.ini files right, called whatever you want? So no need to manually merge to add more shaders.

I've stopped PPSSPP from crashing when it fails to compile a shader, instead it displays the first line of the error message and writes the rest to the log.

Of course I know that!

RE: Custom PPSSPP shaders - Ritori - 10-13-2013 12:56 PM

Is they already change format defaultshaders.ini or it still on this format Big Grin?

RE: Custom PPSSPP shaders - LunaMoo - 10-13-2013 03:14 PM

@Ritori - format is same, you can just use different ini file(named as you wish) with other shaders to not have to put it inside "defaultshaders.ini" every time you update itSmile.
I just named it "other shaders.ini" put a few copies of my shader with different configs there and it works great^__^. I just replaced the download in the first post with an archive prepared for this new formatSmile, so just unpacking it will give a set of configurable bloom for general use, Miku's Bloom for Project Diva and maybe some other anime-like games and sharpen filter. 3 copies of same file as an example how to just use different setup of my shader to get different effects in PPSSPP listSmile.

Yeah I love how Project DIVA looks now as well^__^.

Kind of offtop about the english patching, but I simply used existing patch for PD Extend. It cannot be used in PPSSPP as we all know, but the patch comes with SDK which has all the translation files and pointers where to put them(and even source of the prx itselfTongue). And I just used that.
There's no link to anything, because I put all of that together by myself and it's WIP for now ~ started like when Ritori's problem reminded me to check the game on PPSSPP, hence it's very early;p, probably wouldn't even think about it if not for the fact how the game looks now ;O.
Once I put some more work into it I'll probably make a patch for it, but while some stuff were easily added already(images for example), the rest would require hacking game executable to be done properly. I couldn't find any info on that in patch sdk/source, not planning to do it from 0 either, so even if I release anything it'll be partial(limited to what I find usefull for myself, because pointers and many translations from english patch are useless for non-hacked elf) and potentially have quite a few stuff shortened to fit original spaces.
Unless prx patches are impossible to implement in the future for PPSSPP I find that putting some serious work in it would be waste anyway, so I'll just finish doing what I find easy or usefull to me, maybe this week or sometime next weekend and drop it in PDE thread, maybe with some extra info then how to put the more bothersome/time consuming stuff inside for those who can't figure it out on their own.(It's really nothing close to rocket science;p)
