Have you guys thought of adding scanlines option?

I think it will look good on the PPSSPP.

Edit: Maybe even loading "Game".chd support as well. chdman conpressing. You can get that source from the MAME/MESS source. Just have to ported over. Shouldn't be hard to do. Need any help porting it or anything from that source then head over here at These guys are pretty cool. You probably can't ported the HLSL over to PPSSPP because that require of DirectX with Graphics cards Shader 3.0. You can try but I don't think you guys wanna deal with that part.

I don't think scanlines make sense when you emulate something that already has an LCD screen...

We already support compressed games in the CISO format (.cso). I think that's enough. Would be cool to have an integrated compressor though I guess.

For the PC. I wasn't talking about the Android or any other handheld. I understand though. Big Grin

I guest it won't hurt to try the Android port. But the speed won't be good as the PC. Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 is what I have.

Once Hendrik ports the emu to DirectX, we will be able to use SweetFX, which has several shaders including an "Arcade CRT Monitor" shader with scanlines that actually look BETTER than the ones using HLSL.

Can't wait for the DX port Big Grin

isamu Have you even tried MAME 0.149 with the HLSL? It does more than the SweetFX. SweetFX just for making graphics better. Like in Guild Wars 2. Two different things.

Here what it look like on MESS.

Henrik for some reason convert cso into iso on some games gotten bigger. Others gotten smaller. Pretty weird. Maybe not converting right or is it filling in?

Anyway. Check this out. chd shrink the size down a little more. Smile
