That's not a big problem you know, you just have to put your mouse cursor at the bottom of your screen
But maybe it will be implemented one day

Does it need to be an option? I think always hiding the mouse in fullscreen makes sense?

I don't think so... There are so much annoying things more important than the mouse cursor in fullscreen mode !
