How do I downgrade my version of PPSSPP? - confusedpeep - 08-04-2021 05:13 AM

Hello! I'm a bit confused on how to, as the title says, downgrade my version. A brief search on what I am struggling with, and I have come up with that I should downgrade my version of ppsspp, but I can't figure out how no matter how much I mess around with the settings. I am doing this because I am on a computer and I am attempting to emulate persona 3 with the following error message:

Could not load game. Failed initializing CPU or memory.

Any help?

Assuming that means Windows: https://www.ppsspp.org/downloads_all.html#windows

Or: https://buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp/index.php?m=fulllist if you just want to go back few days ago instead of downgrading an entire version.

Navigate to the main menu on your PSP.
Select Settings -> System Settings -> System Information.
Look for System Software Version X.XX. Where X.XX is the version number of your PSP firmware.
Now you will know which downloader and/or updater you will need.
Note that any version greater than 1.51 will prevent you from running Homebrew and other independent applications.

Hello,

I’m not sure if this helps, but if you’ve been saving in-game PPSSPP keeps an insular save, just like a real psp.
