progress (2019/4/27):
all 31 character texture (official dlc costume included) from CharacterFile, work fine in battle mode, may have problem during cutscene due to mouth motion
all summon
all 19 stages
tools:
waifu2x-caffe, gimp, advance renamer
bug:
grey edge around sharp end (sword, feather, ect.) from certain angle of view
note:
esrgan upscale with manga109 model didnt work fine, maybe later there would be a more capable way.
install:
extract all file from nphh00293.7z to \memstick\psp\TEXTURES\NPHH00293, turn on repalce textures in developer tools

Can I change the folder name to match the USA rom? if not can I use DLC with asia version?

i think this mod should be compatible with usa rom . i was able to match a few file names with textures from usa rom
