Multi-Core Support - Wikilix - 04-02-2013 10:44 AM From what I understand PPSSPP only supports single core processing meaning some graphic hungry games will run very slowly especially on a mobile phone with few resources to work with in the first place. I'd love to see multi-core support in the next update as my iPhone 5 is dual core and with the best settings I average about 17 FPS on Star Wars Battlefront 2. It's playable, but once you start getting into the action frames drop to as low as 3 FPS. So hopefully in version 0.8 we can see Support for more then just single-cores. Also an official PPSSPP on iPhone would be nice too. As far as I know iOS users only have ports from theavenger and angelXwind. RE: Multi-Core Support - ckgbr - 04-04-2013 06:18 PM Igree... If frameskip works better will be a big step for android players. RE: Multi-Core Support - Dribblejam - 04-04-2013 07:02 PM (04-04-2013 06:18 PM)ckgbr Wrote: Igree... Mhm. And frameskip has always been in (beta)? Have they made changes to it over time? |
