something is wrong with your settings...try a .cso of smaller size maybe

For Wipeout, I was using a 155mb .cso and it is slow (haven't tried the 241mb .iso yet)
DO you think it will make a difference using cso rather than iso?

YES IT DOES.IM USING THE ISO.

Hey CapsBoy.. using .iso compared to .cso doesn't make any difference.

RE: PPSSPP iOS Port - BubblegumBalloon - 03-15-2013 02:46 AM

Hey TheAvenger. PPSSPP for iOS can now use FastMem and had a small frame rate issue fixed. Think its worth throwing a new build up on the repo?

Will try but I am tad busy these couple of days so I might not be able to build any new changes that happen

See, i have no problem writing without caps locked.I want to thank you once again for the nice work that you did.I did not know that it was offensive to use caps.Im not always on a computer so it might be the reason why i did not notice that so many people had a problem with caps.Otherwise ,sharing is the only way to put our effort together so we can advance.Noone knows all but everyone knows something valuable.

RE: PPSSPP iOS Port - the avenger - 03-15-2013 05:09 AM

nope, enabling fastmem now does somethink like what buffered rendering did before we fixed it,so it gives a black sceen, but i will upload new version for the framerate fix

I just installed PPSSPP v7.0b and it's buttery smooth on my iPhone 5 playing Wipeout Pure. Which other games work?

And yeah it works full speed on iPhone 4 also. But playing psx4all on devices higher than 4 then it results in screen tearing. Zod is working on new betas as well speak...apparently...

RE: PPSSPP iOS Port - Adava - 03-15-2013 10:12 AM

But Crisis Core (FF) has been reported working at 55 fps , is this true ?

Where do I get a non-corrupt file for Crisis Core ?
I've tried one already without luck ...

Yes crisis core is working. But original ffvii isn't because it's a psn game. But go to gamefaq and get the save from there. Make sure it's the correct one for the region of game you have. So only American save files will work with American version of the game. If you don't no the version, then just download one of the Europe save files and one of the American ones. Then just test them. Also make sure your putting the save folder...not just the files into SAVEDATA folder inside the DocumentsPPSSPP (think that's what it's called). Then you should be able to load

@avenger

You have and everyone else have done a great job with the psp emulator. There isn't a section for this on the forum...but would you consider doing a psx emulator? I usually use zodttds but as most of us know it takes him an extremely long time to update. Maybe you could use his open source code from his github. To be honest I think with the combination of you and the others on this forum you could get it working perfectly and with full speed. Not to mention of the possibility of up scaled graphics similar to that in ppsspp.

So what do you think?

On Linux, it uses SDL (so that's an option).
On Blackberry I use ALSA.
On Symbian, I use Qt.
It's very easy to put any audio backend in.
Looks like it's just. I'll try to make audio output via OpenAL or CoreAudio.
