This thread needs to be updated.
We have new options, "skip updating PSP memory" and "unlock CPU speed".
And "Use media engine" was removed.

A wiki would help to keep it updated.

And about "EncryptSave", I read somewhere (I don't remember where) that you should let it enabled in order to protect your saves from corruption Smile
I've had a save that got corrupted only once and that was because encryption was enabled.
luckily the corruption was only in the data that was loaded in RAM, so the save was usable again after decrypting it with an older version of ppsspp.

My save on Radiant Mythology 3 was also damaged yesterday but I don't know if it's because of that option.
In my case luckily I made a save state right after I save,so I just delete the save and save again after I load the save state.

That's strange, I never had a problem like this... Huh
Maybe it's a problem with the game in particular...

what is unlock CPU for

RE: PPSSPP options explained - vsub_ - 07-04-2013 09:05 AM

Lower values means more speed but below 50,depending on the game,you may start getting the opposite effect.
Higher values can fix problems but it lowers your speed

Lower values make more speed?? i current make 666 unlock* i though* that high values make more speed ?

RE: PPSSPP options explained - vsub_ - 07-05-2013 08:17 AM

Sorry but I can't understand your post
Lower values gives you more speed but really low value(depending on the game)can give you the opposite effect(lowering the speed).
Higher values slower your speed but can fix problems.

i think 666 unlock give more speed just few speed up Smile
I will try low values more Liked 50 etc and see the different

yes and no.
at some point ppsspp stopped loading encrypted project diva 2nd saves properly if they came from a real psp, it would always load a corrupted version causing unlocks to go haywire(things unlocked by default where locked, and things where unlocked while their requirements where not reachable yet)
using an older version of ppsspp, and decrypting the save fixed it.

RE: PPSSPP options explained - vsub_ - 07-05-2013 04:35 PM

I don't know if it's related to that option(encrypting saves)but when I start ppssp\some game,the game\emulator says that there is no save for the game.
When I restart,then there is 99% chance to see the save.

RE: PPSSPP options explained - TheDax - 07-05-2013 06:17 PM

RightStickBind in the ini now has an option 5: RAS acts as left/right dpad buttons.

Also, I added a new option to allow DirectInput users to swap the right analog stick axes:

SwapDInputRightAxes:
0 = Don't swap
1 = Swap the X & Y axes

RE: PPSSPP options explained - vsub_ - 07-06-2013 05:16 AM

Is it bad to keep "Force 60FPS" always enabled...I get more speed when it's enabled on some games but does that option have negative effect
