Anyone running this game well on Android? Trying to run it on my nexus 4 but getting slowdown, if I could OC the emulator with cpu unlock would run flawless, so close... It jitters and slows but on the verge of being smooth.

Iv read of some saying it runs great on their phones. There doesnt appear to be any options to cpu unlock in menu or ini, would overclocking my gpu make much difference?

Seems to be that my fps in-game is at 30 constantly, VPS jumps around 35/40/60.

Any advise to get it running smooth? Iv played around with the in-game settings and get much better results with non buffered rendering, no frame skipping.

The CPU Unlock function is here:-

Set it to something like 60 - 80 MHz for this game. A bit higher if the game starts to spaz out.

I'm running v0.8-1-2g0cfbde for Android (Ouya) and I don't get that CPU Unlock menu.

I'm able to get it to run decent, constant 30 FPS, 50 VPS most of the time but it will dip into 30 VPS in battles and certain areas.

I have this setup:
Hardware Transform
Vertex Cache
Mipmapping
Bufferred Rendering
Frame Skipping: 1

Hoping the Ouya port comes soon...

So far, i've played through the game briefly, and I am quite impressed with what I see. It works really well...considering past issues with emulators on my side.

RE: Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII - 3flight - 08-20-2013 08:38 PM

Does anybody else have a problem on android where ppsspp freezes when you try to access save point? Sometimes it freezes for a moment and shows save slots, but with other save points (first save in forest) it always freezes.

RE: Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII - Henrik - 08-20-2013 08:40 PM

For some reason save points in this and a couple of other games can be extremely slow ... just wait and it will work. I haven't figured it out yet.

RE: Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII - 3flight - 08-21-2013 04:52 AM

Omg, I waited for X minutes and fell asleep while waiting %) save screen was there when I woke up, indeed! It stimulates you to take a pause and do something else %)))

RE: Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII - originalkdawg - 08-25-2013 04:44 AM

Don't know if anyone else has this problem but it seems like if you are using the patch JPN audio dub version of the iso the game will hardlock when using "Lucky Stars" during battle.

here's a the video of it happening

This was done and recreated on
Windows 7
64-bit
PPSSPP 0.91

Hello, i want to report that ff7cc crashes in all builds 9.1.xxx on android (tested xperia play). The same game run okay in builds 0.8.1.xxxx.

RE: Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII - raaaaaaaandy - 08-26-2013 12:54 AM

Doesn't work ios v0.9.1

RE: Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII - curraja - 08-26-2013 11:30 AM

Works almost perfect on my SGS4 4.3.1 just fps drives me crazy... about saves hmm i dont use saves just save states ^^

RE: Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII - Henrik - 08-26-2013 12:20 PM

You really should use save points from time to time too, as save states are not compatible between different versions of PPSSPP.
