Hey there,
I have a Note 3, yet still receive a chuggy framerate when playing the PSP emulator. I'm playing Gran Turismo
Is there a recommended list of settings available that I can tune to?

Well u see every device is different so the settings that u use on one device might not work so well
It also depends on the game u are playing
Every game uses different settings
What settings are u using plz post them
Unfortunately there isn't a list of settings to use
I'd
Recommend
U enable
Multi thread
Frame skip 1 + auto ( disable if it doesn't help)
Try enabling some hacks ( may cause glitches but speed up some games)
Timer hack
Disable alpha test
Switch between these or enable all
Lazy texture cache
Retain textures
Low quality lines...blah blah
Frameskip alternate speed
Switch between 25 - 50 - 75 or unlimited
And check out your games thread in playable games forum

Android devices aren't powerful to emulate all games smoothly. I have a note 3 and my 7 years old PC runs psp games a lot faster. It is a very long road to make good emu. PPSSPP is still in development.

No, no and no. I registered today just for this.
PSPSPP was running PERFECT on my Note 3.
Now I'm running latest update 4.4.2 and I have this laggy performance and especially sound crackling. I've tried different settings even the lowest with no success. Reverted back to 0.9.7 (that worked like charm) with no luck.
What I noticed is that Samsung updated the Qualcomm OpenGL drivers to V66 and I guess that's the reason.
I hope the dev can look into that if something to fix is possible.

My note 3 is 4.4.2. DBZ another road runs smooth, smoother than android games. Crisis core runs fine. I play initiad d special stage with nice frame rate. I have best frame rate on v 9.8.

Your Note 3 is Exynos then.

question... which note 3 is better at playing ppsspp? mali or andreno version??
