Hey guys,

Just trying to figure out what the best possible graphic settings are for the emulator.

I will be playing the games at 1080p

Any help is greatly appreciated, screenshots of the best settings will be perfect.

Hey guys i love Rhythm games so much that's why I'm playing Taiko no Tatsujin Portable Dx.

So i made lot of custom touch button to make the gameplay really nice in touchscreen mode, even i prefer use touchscreen button more than actual controller. Because i play with 0% opacity.

This is my custom, In game play we just need 4 buttons to play
1= L1
2=O
3= LEFT
4= R1

And i made X button visible to cancel or go back option.

My only problem is with the D-Pad button that i use to choose song or menu option, i feel is really hard to touch it because always got double buttons to touch or the shape make it's really hard to touch. So i always got miss touch.

   

So i tried to solve this problem with make another custom touchscreen button, that makes R1 and L1 visible, and use 5 combo Buttons to handle D-PAD
1= LEFT
2= O
3= UP
4= Right
5= Down

Now the problem is the shape of R1 and L1 make it really hard to custom, if i make it bigger is good cause it cover a lot of screen but i cant move it freely. If i make it smaller i can move it freely, but it will be hard to touch.

   

Conclusion
1. With the first custom button my gameplay is really nice but bad at choosing the song or menu option.
2. The second custom button its turn the opposite.

My suggestion
1. Add more combo buttons and custom shape like rectangle
2. Reshape R1 L1 to rectangle will be easier to Resize
3. Make D-Pade button visibility 1 by 1 like Action button.

i know the difference between texture upscaling and texture smoothing and this emulator uses texture SMOOTHING not upscaling.

the texture smoothing function of this emulator is just flat out hideous to look at. it's like running the textures through a shitty upscaling website that has end results that make everything like smeared across the screen.

it even affects the TEXT!

for some games, (like final fantasy 1 and 2) pixelation is part of the games aesthetic.

so, could the devs please rename the "texture upscale" feature to something more accurate? "texture filter" or "texture smear"?

top pic is with the texture "upscaling" turned off, while the bottom has it turned on.

i don't even see why you'd include such a feature when it literally only makes things look far worse than they originally were.

i'll just have to tolerate Ys VII's giant pixels since there's no actual texture upscale feature here.

Nintendo switch pro controller won't work in PPSSPP
some key can not map in ppsspp.

I am new to the PPSSPP emulator and I am just using it for Corpse Party at the moment. Everything is working fine except for the overall quality of the games graphics. The character models are low res and so is the text. I am not the best with tech but i’m pretty sure this is because of the scaling, but Youtubers like Pewdiepie use the same emulator but his game looks just fine. is there any way to fix this?

Hello, I'm having trouble with xiaomi mi box 3, I'm in the last version. When I enter the screen turns black, does it help?

I am playing the Japanese version of Tactics Ogre LUCT. I fond found some awesome cheats online (from the same source), but while some like “max money” work, others like ”money does not decrease”“10 movement range” etc do not work at all.

I pasted the cheats to a friends PSP memory card who have the same game and interestingly, these exact same cheats i pasted over work perfectly on his actual PSP running the exact same game (but he has the UMD rather than a ROM) from the same region.

Does anyone know why this might be the case? Why does the same cheats for the same game does not work on the PPSSPP but does work on a real PSP?

PS i have attached the cw ini file. I have tried most of the cheats just to see if they would work, and most dont, but some do, which is really weird since they are all from the same source.

I noticed that the left shift key is not detected properly, like it kept outputting single hit signals when I hold the key. The problem still exists even I changed other keyboards or tried another game. Could someone please give some help?? My operating system is MacOS and the ppsspp version is 1.6.3-456.

I'm playing Crash of the Titans and it keeps on crashing on chapter 7 when I meet with the Tiger guy, what should I do?

I have a samsung mini S III 4.1.2 (android version) and everytime i open the app it remains completely black, but when i use the main button to see all the active aps i can clearly see the emulator.
