Hello,

I have loaded PPSSPP on my Windows 8.1 tablet (Dell Venue 8 Pro) and am very, very impressed, even though I haven't actually played anything yet!

I have moved my SAVEDATA folder over from my PSP GO to my documents\ppsspp\psp\savedata folder, but the two games I have tried, Gran Turismo, and Disgaea Afternoon of Darkness don't seem to see it.

Is this because those games are are different version (US vs UK or something)? Or is the folder structure actually wrong?

Hey, I have a problem with few games.
Some textures have a square blocks around them:



also in few games I'm missing text(monster hunter, MGS peacewalker for example).

Also when I try to run Shin Budokai games and BlazBlue, the emulator crashes.

Any way to fix it? It's really annoying.

I have a couple questions regarding button mapping with the xbox 360 controller. First one is: Can you save/load different controller settings on an individual game basis? Some PSP games I want to button map to use both analog controls (good for fps games) and some PSP games I'm fine with the default settings.

Second question is remapping the pause key for xbox360 controller.
The default key maps in PPSSPP for Pause are:
kbd.esc
x360.TriggerL+
x360.Home

When I hit escape on my keyboard it will toggle the PPSSPP pause menu, so hitting escape a second time goes back into the game. If I use the buttons assigned to the Xbox360 controller, they don't toggle. The only key that will return back to the game is any button assigned to the PSP "O" key. I can assign any button but only to the "O" key. I'm not sure why buttons assigned to the controller don't act as a toggle on/off. I'm forced to use 2 buttons, one to enter the pause menu and another to exit the pause menu. Is there a reason it is set up like this?

With the latest dev version, there is a new option called Extract File... which is in the drop down menu.

Can anyone explain what it does? Can it extract files from the game itself?

When I execute ppsspp v0.9.6.2 , the app does not work.

1. Does the Razer Sabertooth work with Windows PPSSPP?

2. Also do I need a powerful PC to run psp games at 2x resoultion and 2x texture? I have a laptop that has intel i7 3rd gen clocked at 1.9 ghz turbo to 2.4 with intel hd 4000 graphics.
***PS. It's quad core if it makes any difference.

I'm a new member here, so sorry if I might seem noobish.

My PPSSPP runs fine and can open the game Patapon. When I try to load my data on the game and click 'Continue' however, it starts to force close and says "Unfortunately, PPSSPP has stopped working". I tried doing 'New Game' too and it worked until I try to save within the game, then it force closes again. I don't understand why this is happening, it's actually been working just great the past week. This just started happening today after my phone died because the battery ran out. The game was running when my phone died btw, if that's helpful.

Any ideas on how I can fix this?

running at CeleriterROM (4.4 Kitkat)

When I use a ps3 controller on my phone the Dpad and both analog sticks do the same thing so it makes games like Monster Hunter really hard to play.
Does anyone have a solution for this?
