Rotating Controls on mobile (iOS)

I want to play in portrait mode but I can’t find any way to rotate my controls. All I could do was rotate the screen.
I saw that there should be a setting under system>general to be able to do this, but it’s not there.

I'm also having this issue — found the same info that there should be a system/general setting to do so, but no dice. I'm sure it has something to do with iOS not being kept up to date by the devs. (I believe they only keep up on Android/Windows)
