Exclamation ppsspp for MeeGo
Hi devs! We appreciate your efforts and time been dedicated for supporting ppsspp emulator cross platform. Still something miss! PsP emulator builds for MeeGo was stopped since v0.9.5 and no 0.9.6 release for it nor the latest version?

RE: ppsspp for MeeGo
So is Symbian, and we still support that, so that's not a very good counter-argument. Tongue

At any rate, according to Xsacha (the maintainer) PPSSPP should still build for Meego, but his buildbot currently doesn't compile it (FFMPEG needs to be recompiled for it to continue making new builds). If someone can provide him instructions (and an SDK for it) on how to build for Meego on Linux (he used a Windows server before, but now he had to switch to Linux), he'll gladly resume builds for it. Until then, you've got to compile your own builds.

RE: ppsspp for MeeGo
Hi, I'd like to advise that Meego and Maemo should still compile if you do it yourself.
I was forced to switch to a Linux build server and so, I no longer provide builds. I have also sold my Meego phone so I have no way of testing builds.
If someone would be willing to provide build instructions for Linux, or even compile the ffmpeg for me, I could add it back to the build bot.

On another note: Why does Symbian get better support than Meego? Easy: The hardware is much better. Symbian Belle phones such as the Nokia 808/700/701/603 can run games much faster than Nokia N9/N950.
The N9 has very little playable games and as such, has little merit in continued support.

I estimate that, for PPSSPP performance, the Broadcom GPU in the Symbian handsets is roughly 4x more powerful than the PowerVR GPU in the Meego handsets. CPU performance is roughly the same or in some instances slower on the Symbian handset but this is a fact that does not appear to affect PPSSPP performance -- especially when the 'Timer Hack' is used.

True that...

Probably still shocked because they dropped the support a month after I decided to use this with my old netbook.. xD
