Bug [SOLVED] brightness problem on buffered mode
I know that buffered mode enhances contrast, detail and brightness, but on some games like gods eater, the brightness is so high that it's uncomfortable to stare at. Is there anyway to reduce the brightness of the game? I already tried lowering my computer's brightness to minimum and it's still too bright.

juz switch the rendering to non-buffered rendering... that's the only thing that you can do now

I want to keep the details though ._. why does buffer mode have to enhance brightness anyways.. it's so stupid.

RE: brightness problem on buffered mode
I haven't seen any issues with brightness in buffered rendering mode. The only thing I can think of is if you enabled some postprocessing filter with a brightening effect. Make sure postprocessing is set to none/off in the settings.

Also make sure you are using the latest development build found here: http://buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp/

as I believe that this is an issue that was present in the official 0.9.6-2 release but was later fixed in the development builds.

Unless you checked Disable alpha test, the overbloom appears again...

Oh it's a bloom issue, we fixed a couple of problems causing this recently.

What games are you playing where it's still an issue?

I'm using the latest stable build and the issue happens when I play gods eater and sometimes the 3rd birthday. Speaking of the 3rd birthday, the game will go full bright yellow and fuzzy when I enter a new area or when I enter the boss area. It goes away after I overdive (take over someone's body).

RE: brightness problem on buffered mode
In GE2 (and in GEB), if you go to a nearby object that emits light like lava in the picture below, it is a bit too bright... if you went to an area with less light, brightness seems normal

RE: brightness problem on buffered mode
Valvatorez, he said he's using the latest stable release which makes me think he's using the official release who's over bright and bloom issues are much worse in Gods Eater Burst and The Third Birthday than they are in newer dev releases. At least I remember it being much worse than it is now.
