[Resolved] Control Mapping
Hi

I use a USB to PS1 adapter for my controller. And the control mapping does not appear to recognize it.
It's worked for every other emulator i've used (epsXe, snes9x, etc) and other games too (Like Altitude).

I go into control mapping, click +; press buttons on the controller and nothing happens. - However the keyboard works just fine.

Any ideas? - Or suggestions?

Thanks for reading!

RE: Control Mapping
That makes this easier. Okay, go to control panel, and in the search box, type in "usb game" without the quotes. It should bring up something like "Set up USB game controllers" in the results. Open that, go to advanced, and make sure your controller is listed as the device you want to use. That's usually the main cause for this type of thing. Make sure PPSSPP is closed when you're doing this, or restart it after changing that setting, if it is open. If that doesn't work, let me know. Smile

RE: Control Mapping
Impressive. Since the USB to PS1 has 2 slots; the one i was using wasn't the preferred. - But it was still working for other games, so is this an issue with ppsspp?
Anyway, Resolved.

Thanks very much! <3!

RE: Control Mapping
I think PPSSPP only looks for the first "connected" controller, so perhaps the slot you were using wasn't the first one, but yeah, you pretty much summed it up. Happy gaming. Smile
