RE: Wipeout Pure
Yeah, just noticed that. It goes away (but you get a black box) if you turn off buffered rendering. Still need to bisect... or if someone else wants to narrow down which version it first started in?

RE: Wipeout Pure
Well, that means that the bloom (glow) now works. The actual game has some bloom. That it's too bright is just another bug to fix..

RE: Wipeout Pure
Great! No more random crashes ! (build 1056) But frameskip now lags. And when explosion screen goes black for a second. Without frameskip fps now higher - about 30-35. (Galaxy Note 2)

RE: Wipeout Pure
enable frameskip, vertex cache, stream vbo, and jit.
disable buffered rendering.

that gives me the best performance(50-60fps, though that's on a very fast samsung galaxy note 2)

the addition of motion controls is really nice for this game, all i'm missing now is a way to auto-hold X(toggle?)

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what Stream VBO actually does? I've only seen it slow down the emu, with no change in graphics at all.

RE: Wipeout Pure
According to the OpenGL ES 2.0 documentation, it's supposed to be the fastest way to stream vertices so I implemented it. It doesn't actually seem to be any faster than to draw directly from ram on any device I've seen though. Or I'm using it wrong somehow.
