Yep, I've got it too. Tested with v0.7.6-1047-g1e68bbe-windows-x86 with rig in sig. It just stays there, the game is now unplayable.

EDIT:- The last build not to have this issue is ppsspp-v0.7.6-1016-g1e84dd2-windows-x86, which is also the last build before the FFMPEG video support was implemented.

Video support broke the game, effectively.

PPSSPP Modern Testbed:-
Intel Core i5 4690K @ 4.0 GHz
NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760 2GB GDDR5 VRAM @ 1138/6500 Mhz
16 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600 MHz
Windows 7 x64 SP1

PPSSPP Ancient Testing Rig:-
Intel Core 2 Duo T9550 @ 2.8GHz
ATI Mobility Radeon 4670 1GB GDDR3 VRAM @ 843/882 MHz
8 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1066 MHz
Windows 7 x64 SP1

RE: Wipeout Pure
The game runs fine with latest builds, but is it normal that it slows down a lot when having sound activated?

ok, ok.. i got it ^_^

Im curious, does having a option of quality (low, medium, high) will help the speed? (especially on mobile devices; android specifically) I dont care about the quality to be blurry just to have the right speed.. ^_^

Works pretty smooth. Only had a few very small frame drops when certain weapons are used for the first time. Only problem is there is no music.

PC Version 0.9.1

RE: Wipeout Pure
Has anyone figured out a way to get the billboards to animate properly? Instead of animating, most of them are just black. Is there a setting I need to tweak, or a plugin out there that would possibly fix this?

That would be because of us having to disable buffered rendering, due to the bad blooming effect, but in doing so, disables certain effects in game, that being one.

RE: Wipeout Pure
Just checked with version 9.5.848 - game has improved with buffered rendering switched on some of the white glow has gone and speed is good - but random freezing of emulator occurs and stops it from continuing.

RE: Wipeout Pure
The only problem left, it seems, is that some things that actually should glow, don't. But that's a very small issue Smile
