Sounds like a good idea. After all, it would make things simpler, like when you want to install git builds.

Catch me if you can't catch me if you can't Cats are nice.

i dont know how to response this but its quite a good idea. However, i think put some installer for the emulator isnt necessary especially the GIT build. I think its more relevent to use installer on official builds tho.

PPSSPP is simple, there is no need of installer.
Emulators of other consoles are also simple and do not use installer.

The site says PPSSPP for Windows

There is not yet an installer, just download the ZIP file and unpack it where you like.

Installer would give it BETTER experience

Still... i prefer create an installer for official builds rather than GIT builds. And yet, it isnt something neccessary as well.

To be honest, unzip it is much much better than going through the installer. Besides, the emulator does not contain too many files nor it has quite a large files which requires it to create an installer. Installer is just another way to compress files, since they act as a program extractor to extract the program that have quite a lot of files and their file size is more than 500MB.

It’s not a bad idea, but i think it’s in the wrong area!! Maybe development area is more appropriated!!

I was an Xperia Play gamer until my dog ate my beloved phone!

Now I’m an Xperia ZL/ZQ gamer!
Quad-Core 1.5 GHZ

It works better, but i miss the gamepad!! T_T'

If a program don't place\write files in places outside the program directory and don't write any registry keys, having installer for such programs is pointless.

Using PPSSPP on Windows 7 x64 SP1
i7 4771 3.5Ghz,GTX750TI,16GB RAM

@Raimoo, i was suggesting him that this treat should have been created on the development area (http://forums.ppsspp.org/forumdisplay.php?fid=3), cause I’m pretty sure the admin doesn’t expend much time in off topic area!

The PPSSPP Feature Request Page is also amazing, for sure… but I have serious doubts that the developers are looking at it all the time!!

Now, this topic in Development would be visualized by Henrik and the other developer fellows! Maybe they would like the idea immediately and work with our friend @Me-Professional!!

Hope this works soon!! Noobs like me adores user friendly stuff!!!

See yah!

Edit. Sorry if it’s hard to understand what I’m saying!! Let’s say that my English is still as week as a Dragon Quest Slime!!! ^^'
