If you are looking in the around $200 price range (unlocked) then the huwei honor 6x with the kirin 655/mali-830mp2 would be a much higher recomemdation if your concern is emulation.

Is it a snapdragon 600 series.... no but it is generally $50 cheaper than those phones for about 90% of the performance. It is a massive upgrade over the quadcore mediatek options you get in the same price range as well.
