why music can't be played while playing with the new ppsspp upgrade???

Hi everyone!
I'm new to this forum and I really thank people who has developed this precious ppsspp software

but I have faced a problem lately which is the following:
before, I was able to play games on my ppsspp installed on my android device while listening to music running with another application on my android. but after installing the latest upgrade 0.9.5 I can't do that anymore, so when I play music and click on to run the ppsspp app, the music automatically stops.

I would like to know if there is any option to get that back to as it was before.

maybe lack of ram? (or maybe not? mine is only 381+ram)
i can play music using poweramp while playing ppsspp.

what do u use?try other music player.

well I have an HTC One and it got 2 GB of RAM so it's not a ram problem at all coz first it's 2GB and second music used to play while playing games on ppsspp before the upgrade but not anymore after the upgrade.

I use the original android app named music and I tried Mixzing too, the problem is that this technic used to work before the upgrade !!!!

have u tried clearing memory with task manager or something?
close other apps, u know.. just try

for me, that release suck. ( no offense to devs, u did great job, i love u guys. )

This bug is still there and it is annoying.

Version v0.9.6.2

Any Music Player on Android is stop playing when ppsspp is starting.

It's not a bug it works like that.. you can't playback ppsspp games sounds and run music/video player it's not a computer to run everything on 1 device (android) that might only work with globe's program. For example how do you think you can watch a video listen to the music and play ppsspp with sound O.o? Impossible that should be end of story .

Yeh It's 2014 and the prob is still here and yeh I cleared all the memory and when I launch the ppsspp the music stops...
actually I use the v0.9.6.2, your website shows builds versions !! but they are not officials so I'm not sure I can do that...

* if you want to watch video, there are programs/video players with "pop up play" function.
* allowing you to have a resizable movie screen , while doing other things on the android system.
* and.. for music.
* there are music apps, which works (for me atleast)
* while playing ppsspp.
* ex. TTpod, and Jet Audio. music are controllable via Bluetooth headset.
* i only have problem with Poweramp Music player.
* it does not respond to headset controls. once i start ppsspp.
* the music plays, at the same time, ppsspp sounds are working too.
* but. i cant change song, or pause or stop the poweramp music. while playing psp.

Nope Miss Curraja, it used to work for me before the last version release!! and as you can see it's working for Mr Globe94 and I tell you oneday it has suddenly worked again when I plugged the phone for charging and I was like woow!!! but never want to work again after that...

it depends of course of what phone do you have? HTC one is a mini computer

Oh well idk i use only 3 apps on my phone dun wanna make junk phone with all those un needed apps gl with your device anyway

I also have the same problem. I already saw a music player that you can force the music to continue playing while you're using other apps. I used it for playing NFS Most Wanted 2012, that also doesn't allow music playback while it's opened. I just don't remember the name of the musica player.

You know when PPSSPP eas in stage of 0.5/6 it was about 4/8mb or something now with all options we currently have is about 20. Even in real life we can't have everything that we want as some of you know adding new stuff to something thats already good cause it to run with lower speed/performance ans cost us extra ram/battery life to run all those options. As for me PPSSPP should be simple and solid without un needed features cause it's for gaming not to make out life easier....but thats my verry own opinion
