it not old pc,it actually a netbook release in 2010(just 3 year),the bad thing is the driver support for it,as you can see the opengl is worse than old pc driver, and it always support aero, and it is window 7.

my sub weapon:
xperia mini hd
1ghz scorpion
single core
not clocked

my ultimate weapon
acer(laptop)
2.2ghz ?core
intel media accelarator 3000

i'm a tester,but not as good as other,please be kind with me,haha.

I'm trying to run the 0.7.6-1251 in Windows 8, in my case the three boxes say:
1) Version 3.3.0
2) Vendor "NVIDIA Corporation"
3) Renderer "GeForce 9600 GT/PCIe/SSE2/3DNOW!"

RE: Crashing on startup on Windows? Please try this and report.
Hi, previously I'm using Win7 (32Bit) and PPSSPP (32Bit) working fine. However, I added RAM to my computer and using Win8.1 (64Bit), I downloaded both 32/64 bit latest PPSSPP and they both fail to run because telling me my OpenGL doesn't support 2.0; DXDIAG telling me DirectX 11 is up-to-date and the driver model is WDDM 1.1!
Can anybody help?

ppsspp need opengl 2.0 and up to play any games, try to upgrade the window driver to the latest.also state your pc spec and other relate information for a better view, use the test build provide by @hendrik from first post to determine what your computer want.

RE: Crashing on startup on Windows? Please try this and report.
I think he meant crash, thus asking for help. Intel GMA 3600 supports OpenGL 3.0, so missing drivers may be the case.

RE: Crashing on startup on Windows? Please try this and report.
If he had missing drivers, it wouldn't report 3.0, which is what confuses me.

RE: Crashing on startup on Windows? Please try this and report.
That means you have drivers, But due to a bug in drivers it fails to bind the texture. You should probably upgrade to latest drivers

If you still get crashes in the latest git builds, I'll be really interested in the information from the test build linked above.

can i get your help pls? the ppsspp v.0.9.8 OpenGL driver error error box does not support OpenGL 2.0, i have recently read the forums and looking at this problem and recently joined. but still dont know what to do.

The Acer site says you have the Intel GMA X3100 GPU. Wiki says OpenGL 2.0 support is available since Vista 15.11 drivers and XP 14.36 drivers. So try to update your GPU drivers
