Enabling/using music/Atrac3+ Crashes my game
i've been doing experiments on the reason why my game has been crashing, enabling full screen, turning off sound, standard/alternative speed, and the only thing that i noticed that was crashing my game is when i would enable Atrac3+. When i enable Atrac3+, the sound is quite choppy, which i don't mind, but after a couple of minutes playing, it crashes and gives me an error. I re-downloaded Atrac3+ but that did not fix the problem.

Any ideas on what i can do to get the music to work? Playing Tales of the world: RM 3 without music is still good enough for me, but it doesn't have to be this way Sad

I am using a
MacBook Air 13-inch
1.3GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 with 3MB L3 cache
3GB of onboard 1600MHz LPDDR3 SDRAM
128GB of flash storage
Intel HD Graphics 5000
SD card slot; two USB 3 ports

RE: Enabling/using music/Atrac3+ Crashes my game
There are some games which crash with atrac3 enabled. I think that "Tales of the World Radiant Mythology 3" is one of them, see this thread.
For now you probably have to turn atrac3 off to play the game.

Somebody is working on a better atrac3 decoder though, so just be patient, it will be fixed eventually.

I'm sorry, but I can't constantly keep an eye on all the game compatibility threads I started.

@midnight3v0

If you really want working atrac3+ with no crashes for now (before Maxim's superior at3+ is merged into master) stick to the older but still functional v0.9.1-839-gde420f6 build from the buildbot. That is the last one before it got broken. Just a heads up though, it's a pretty old build which may have it's own issues.

PPSSPP Modern Testbed:-
Intel Core i5 4690K @ 4.0 GHz
NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760 2GB GDDR5 VRAM @ 1138/6500 Mhz
16 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600 MHz
Windows 7 x64 SP1

PPSSPP Ancient Testing Rig:-
Intel Core 2 Duo T9550 @ 2.8GHz
ATI Mobility Radeon 4670 1GB GDDR3 VRAM @ 843/882 MHz
8 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1066 MHz
Windows 7 x64 SP1

But you're using WINE, so how is that an issue? Undecided

4GHz AMD 3900X, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 6GB Nvidia RTX 2060, Asus Crosshair 7 Hero (Wifi), Linux
