RE: Signature URL tag support
No. It'll make it easier for spambots to spam subtly. The kind that act like they're posting relevant information but have spam in their signatures. Not only that but then we'll likely see large images in signatures.

These days, the big six forum scripts offer the ability to restrict image sizes, and image numbers in signatures, so that's a non-issue.

But this can also happen even if the "url" tag is not working...
Even if an URL is not clickable it's even though an URL Undecided

RE: Signature URL tag support
That's true, but they usually try to mask their spam like so(these links go to Google.com):

spam 1
spam 2

RE: Signature URL tag support
I would love the URL tag in signatures, that way I could subtly spam my Google+ page everywhere!

On the other hand, all you unwashed peasants would spam me with your own annoying links!
So I propose that only I get to use links in signatures. Muahahahahah!

Or in more serious words, I'm conflicted about this. I see the usefulness, but also the potential for abuse. So I didn't vote.

I'm sorry, but I can't constantly keep an eye on all the game compatibility threads I started.

RE: Signature URL tag support
Nah, this forum is mostly about the emulator's progress and all,
there's a seperate spot for images/videos to post and besides,
we can simply add whatever link we want for people to go at from signature
instead of showing an image, we have our avatars to be cool. Wink
